Sydney Coastrek 2020 - 60km

My Activity Tracking

My target 60kms

I’m taking on Sydney Coastrek - 60km!

On March 27, I will be joining three of my girlfriends and hundreds of other strong(-legged) women, to participate in Coastrek 60km.  This is a 60km charity walk along the coastline from Palm Beach to Mosman.

I have never run or walked 60km in one go so this is a very daunting challenge for me.  So far, as at 3 Feb, I’ve done ~80km of training over the last 3 weeks, including a 30km walk from Kirribilli to Manly on Sunday.  With only 7 weeks to go, I need to up my game and put in more hard yards. So don’t be surprised when you see me walking around a tad slower than usual (and not wearing my high heels much!)

More importantly, I am supporting Beyond Blue, an organisation that has done some marvellous work in supporting people with anxiety, depression and promoting better mental health across Australia.  A cause that is very close to my heart.

Here’s to a much happier planet!

Thank you to my Sponsors
