I'm taking part in Melbourne Coastrek, the ultimate team trekking and fundraising challenge, proudly supporting The Fred Hollows Foundation.

And I am also going to take this opportunity to achieve some of my own personal health goals, 1) I will lose 20cms from my waist circumference and 2) I will lose a minimum of 12 kilos of body weight.

103 days until WE DO THIS!
Today is day 1.
I woke at 5.40am. I was at the gym (CoachingZone, Genesis Ringwood) and commenced my session called 'Engergise' at 6am. I worked out for 46 minutes, with an average HR of 132 and a peak HR of 166. I burnt 297 calories.
I then played netball at 9.30am. I worked out for 38 minutes, with an average HR of 138 and a peak HR of 174. I burnt 280 calories. We lost.
Tomorrow I weigh in and have my measurements taken. My personal goals are;
1) I will lose 20cms from my waist circumference and
2) I will lose a minimum of 12 kilos of body weight.
