Here I go again...trekking training has begun
As many of you know, for several years I chosen a charity, promoted it and asked you my friends and family for support in raising much needed funds...in return I've given something up or put my body on the line.
In 2015, I gave up wine as part of Dry July raising funds for Cancer research.
In 2016, I undertook a half marathon as part of the Melbourne Marathon, raising awareness to those struggling with mental health for the Black Dog Institute.
While in 2017, I trekked 30kms along the picturesque Mornington Peninsula for the Fred Hollows Foundation (raising funds to restore sight).
Last year I took the year off, instead I used my energy to grow a tiny human.
Now that our beautiful baby boy has arrived I am making up for the break by trekking 60kms in one day.
I won't be doing to it alone, together with three driven and hilarious ladies we hope to smash out the 60km trek in less than 12 hours.
Keep us motivated and give to two our team supporting the Fred Hollows Foundation (just $25 will restore sight for a person).
Until the next post - thanks for your support.
