Take a Walk on the Wild Side

Coastrek is bringing a touch of the coast to Australia’s capital next March. That’s right - we’re coming to Canberra!

Our newest Coastrek boasts less sand than our classic locations (perhaps a welcome relief for those who’ve trekked our coastal events previously!) but will bring the same vibrant Coastrek energy to the heart of Australia’s bush capital.
Get your team of four together for an epic trek around Canberra’s iconic Lake Burley Griffin where cultural landmarks combine with natural bushland surrounds and a stunning Autumn backdrop.

Choose either a 30km full-day adventure or a Twilight 20km trek crossing the finish line at dusk, and hike for healthy hearts with all the same magic we're known for - fun, fitness, friends and fundraising, all in support of the Heart Foundation.

How our charity walks at Canberra work

Our Canberra event offers two thrilling distances, a Twilight 20km and 30km route, taking you on a scenic journey around the stunning Lake Burley Griffin. Embrace the beauty of the capital city's iconic landscapes while making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by heart disease.

Whether you're an avid walker or a fitness enthusiast seeking a new challenge, this event is designed to push your limits and leave you with a sense of adventure.

Here’s a quick overview of how you can get involved with our challenge event:

  • First, form a team of four. Grab friends, family, even work colleagues and invite them to take part in the Coastrek Canberra event.
  • Pledge to raise $2,000 as a team. It might sound like a lot, but it’s only $500 per person.
  • Get your creative juices flowing. Come up with fun, out-of-the-box fundraising ideas you and your team can use to meet your goal.
  • Complete the walk, whether you and your team decided to take on the 20km or 30km charity walk.

Get fit, have fun, raise funds with our Canberra event

When it comes to our charity walks Canberra teams are not competing. The goal isn’t to ‘beat’ other hikers – our challenge event is about empowering women to push themselves, to step outside of their comfort zones, and have fun and make a difference in the process.

Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to combine fun, fitness, friendship, and fundraising. Register now for our Canberra charity walk and be part of a rewarding 12 week fitness program that not only challenges you but also supports a cause that truly matters.

So, what are you waiting for? Challenge yourself.
