Coastrek is inclusive for all workers. For those not wanting to walk, they can be involved by joining our amazing volunteer crew on event day or contribute via fundraising, as a support crew or organising fundraising initiatives.

Choose your adventure: Walk between 20km and 60km along Australia’s most spectacular coastlines to get fit with friends, & hike for healthy hearts and raise funds for life-saving research.

WHY FUNDRAISE FOR THE HEART FOUNDATION
The Heart Foundation aims to improve the health of all Australians by continuing to raise awareness about the risk factors for heart disease; offering support and care to those impacted by heart disease, including information and resources for healthcare professionals; and continuing to be Australia’s largest peak body funder of heart health research.
Many of us know or love someone who has been impacted by heart disease. Together, the Heart Foundation and Coastrek are embarking on an adventure to improve the lives of everyday Australians for the better, by taking a walk on the wild side to build healthier, happier hearts.
Every dollar you raise can help end heart disease and have an impact in so many ways including:
Fund lifesaving research to better prevent, treat and manage conditions like heart disease, stroke and blood vessel disease.
Improve heart health outcomes for women by continuing to raise awareness, develop healthcare professional resources and invest in research to address current gaps in knowledge.
Help Australians to live healthier lifestyles through healthy living programs. Encouraging more people to take action to manage their heart health and educating through community awareness programs, public health campaigns and resources.
