Weโre hiking for mental health with Coastrek, proudly supporting Beyond Blue.ย
Weโre taking part in Coastrek, Australiaโs iconic hiking challenge! Weโll be training as a team for an epic coastal trek to improve our health, fitness and wellbeing while raising funds for Beyond Blue.ย ย
In Australia, around 5 million people are living with anxiety and depression and nearly half of us will experience a mental health condition in our lifetime. More than 750 people reach out to the Beyond Blue 24/7 Support Service every day โ thatโs over 275,000 life-changing conversations every year.ย ย ย
On average, $66 helps start a vital conversation with a trained professional. With your support, the funds I raise will help ensure Beyond Blue can be there when someone feels alone or overwhelmed, or like they donโt know what to do next.ย ย ย
Our Coastrek hike for mental health will include months of training, tackling soft sand and probably a blister or two โ plus lots of laughs, connection and important conversations, spectacular scenery and a sweet feeling of exhilaration when we cross that finish line.ย
