WALKING FOR MENTAL HEALTH
Coastrek is Australia’s most popular hiking challenge for women. The birthplace of Coastrek back in 2009, the Sydney Coastrek route journeys along some of the most iconic and beautiful coastal trails in the world.
Choose your adventure! Walk 60km, 30km or 15km along some of Australia’s most spectacular coastlines to get fit with friends and raise funds for mental health. From Palm Beach to Mosman, you’ll experience world-class beaches, pristine national parks and views of sparkling Sydney Harbour.
Join thousands of wild women (and a few awesome men!) in teams of four as we immerse ourselves in nature for an epic adventure of fun, fitness, friends and fundraising, proudly supporting Beyond Blue.

How our charity walk in Sydney works
Sydney is Australia's most populated city, and is renowned the world over for its white sandy beaches and iconic architecture. On the day of our charity walk Sydney locals and visitors join forces to have fun, get fit, and raise much-needed funds for Beyond Blue – our Sydney event truly is a walk for mental health.
Getting involved is easy. Here's how the process works:
- Grab three of your friends, family members, or colleagues and form a team.
- Commit to raising $2,000 as a team - that's just $500 per person
- Get creative! Work together to come up with some fun, engaging, out-of-the-box fundraising ideas.
- On the day of our charity walk, Sydney’s teams get together and explore the region’s bustling atmosphere and world-class natural beauty through a 15, 30, or 60km walk
A Sydney event about having fun and raising money
Our walk for mental health is not competitive. The goal isn’t to out-walk other Sydney teams. Instead, it’s about improving your health and well-being, connecting with friends and family, and raising funds – all while having an epic time.
To help you and your team reach your goals and tackle the hiking challenge with confidence, we’ve put together a fun, easy-to-follow 12-week training program.
